Dear Judy:
Just wanted to let you know how well Lucy, our Golden Retriever, has been doing since our sessions with you. As you know, when we adopted Lucy she was quite a "wild child." Her favorite past time was grabbing our shoes and off she would go hoping we would chase her. Can't tell you how many times I would go into my closet and find only one shoe. With your help I now have pairs of shoes and Lucy will still take them at times, but will now come when called and sit and drop the shoe. Hallelujah! Another bad habit was the constant pulling of her leash and wanting to be in charge of her walks. Lucy will now walk for any length of time off leash, right next to my husband and stops and sits and waits at command. I believe with your training and cool and calm directions she could now become a terrific guide dog.
Once again thanks for all your help. You could give the "Dog Whisperer" a run for his money.

You have amazed us with the work you have done. Daffy our rescue, is an old dog, granted he acts like a puppy. Still, his issues with other dogs and guarding the house were more than we could handle alone.
And honestly, we were not sure any trainer could help. You came through for us with flying colors! In literally the first session and less than 2 hours you taught Daffy at least three new things. He is so much better now and we can even have guests over. He even sleeps with one of our cats sometimes. What a relief! We are so grateful to you. Thanks for helping an old dog learn new, positive tricks!

When we brought our pup home from the animal shelter we didn't have any clue as to what was ahead for us raising a puppy! The early play-training obedience commands you showed us prevented lots of misbehaviors from being repeated over and over again. It's amazing what a puppy is capable of learning when it is only 8 weeks old. We would have waited until Patrick was six months old except for your assurance to begin right away. The group socialization sessions were so valuable in getting him over being a little shy of other dogs. Your techniques really made it fun for us all to learn. Thanks again for being our trainer. Judy was great in helping us train our little Chihuahua mix, Squirt. He was a little over one year old at the time and still in his puppy mode. Judy was very patient with him - and with me, since it is as much about training the owner as it is training the dog. We were very comfortable in the knowledge she displayed and the gentle techniques she used in handling little Squirt and all the dogs in our class. Squirt had the typical Napoleon complex, but the way Judy allowed the dogs to interact with one another taught him that he could get along with other dogs.Judy worked diligently in training the basic obedience skills that every dog needs, and the dogs responded immediately to her and her techniques. But she also let us have some FUN and showed us simple, entertaining tricks that we could work on, too. We would very much like to work with Judy again in the future. We totally trust her teaching methods and know that she genuinely cares about the people and the well-being of their dogs.

Judy Keehn walked through our door and I knew we were on the track for dog training. Judy went through a thorough evaluation with us about our dogs and lifestyle. Yes, dogs...two boxers! We worked with both Iris and Fez at once. One of our challenges was the way they greeted visitors; Iris was aggressive and Fez too exuberant. We think of your training class often, even while my rat terrier Jim was still alive, and how lucky we were to have found you. I learned some great stuff that Jim and I put into practice and we received MANY compliments on what a well-behaved couple we were and that made my Jim the most welcomed dog in town. He went EVERYWHERE with me. Where he was not welcome, I just didn't show.
I made a file for him with all his awards. He did SHOWS at corporate events, and your business card was attached to the front of the file. I've tracked you down with a little help from Google and, as God had it planned, you have your website up. Now that Jimmy has passed away, we have adopted two rat terriers, Star and Rusty.
